Another hotel restaurant in downtown Detroit is making its debut this month.

The long-waited Presley’s Kitchen and Bar will open the week of Feb. 26 at the historic, renovated David Whitney building, which is an Autograph Collection hotel just steps from Comerica Park, the Detroit Opera House and other destinations.

Presley's Kitchen and Bar, seen here in September, is readying to open on the ground floor of the historic David Whitney Building this month.

According to a media alert sent Friday morning, the restaurant and bar will focus on American cuisine, helmed by veteran chef Eric Chaitin. Some menu items include a “fig and pig” flatbread, chicken and shrimp and grits.

Presley’s – which will have a 1920s and '30s art deco vibe – is named after owners Brandon and Karissa Davis’ oldest daughter, a fourth grader. (Their other restaurant, Novella’s Pizza in Milford, is named after their middle daughter.)

Once open later this month, the restaurant is expected to serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Presley’s, 1 Park Ave. in Detroit, is now hiring all positions at presleyskitchen.com.

Presley’s is the latest in a string of new hotel restaurants in downtown Detroit including Sullivan’s Steakhouse at the Westin Book Cadillac, Cibo Mediterranean at Cambria Hotel, Hamilton’s at the Godfrey Hotel in Corktown, Ash Bar at Siren Hotel and Le Suprême and Hiroki-San at the Book Tower.
