Motorcyclist injured in Clinton Twp. crash

A motorcycle rider is in critical condition after a crash last weekend in Clinton Township, police said.

Officials said the crash happened at about 7:10 p.m. Saturday in the roundabout at Cass Avenue and Romeo Plank.

According to a preliminary investigation, a person operating a motorcycle and traveling west on Cass entered the roundabout before striking a curb. The operator was not wearing a helmet, authorities said. The impact threw the rider off the motorcycle and he suffered a head injury when he landed.

Police said medics arrived and took him to a hospital.
