Fifth-year running back Jaren Mangham appears to be on the move yet again. His younger brother, Jaden, appears to be on his way out of Michigan State's program, too.

Jaren and Jaden Mangham entered the transfer portal on Tuesday, a Michigan State spokesperson confirmed. Jaren's next spot would be his fourth school in six years.

Michigan State running back Jaren Mangham is in the transfer portal.

The elder Mangham started his college career at Colorado, where he stayed for two seasons before transferring to South Florida. He stayed with USF for two seasons, redshirting his second year, before switching to Michigan State ahead of the 2023 season.

Mangham missed the first half of the season with an injury but appeared in the final six games. He played a total of 105 offensive snaps, registering 30 carries for 81 yards and seven catches for 37 yards. Over the course of his career, Mangham rushed for 1,332 yards on 344 attempts and scored 23 touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Jaden Mangham is a big loss for the Spartans' secondary. The younger Mangham started 12 of his 20 games over the past two seasons at safety. That includes 10 starts at that position in last season alone.

The honorable mention All-Big Ten selection recorded 53 tackles, including one for a loss, last season. That was the sixth-best mark on the Spartans and third among Michigan State's defensive backs. Mangham also had three pass breakups and a team-high four interceptions. His 606 snaps on defense made him one of the four most utilized defensive players on Michigan State's team last season.

The Spartans' offensive line depth also took a hit Tuesday, with Ethan Boyd and Geno VanDeMark entering the transfer portal.

Boyd, a 6-foot-7, 326-pound junior from East Lansing, played in 22 games over the last two seasons after taking a redshirt his freshman year. He played in all 12 games last season, starting three of them.

Ethan Boyd, a Michigan State offensive lineman from East Lansing, has entered the transfer portal.

He is joined by VanDeMark, who is back in the transfer portal, an MSU spokesperson confirmed.

Boyd was one of the top prospect in Michigan out of high school and was ranked No. 22 among The Detroit News Blue Chips in 2020

The 6-5, 329-pound VanDeMark is a former four-star prospect who appeared in 18 games for the Spartans the past two seasons, making eight starts, including six in 2023.

Boyd and VanDeMark joined about a dozen other Michigan State players who’ve entered the portal during this spring window, which closes Tuesday. Other portal departures include defensive linemen Simeon Barrow Jr., Derrick Harmon, and Bai Jobe
