Anne Snabes is the Macomb County Reporter for The Detroit News. She previously reported at the Sarasota Herald-Tribune, where she covered city and county government. She has also been a reporter at The Meridian Star in Meridian, Mississippi, and a Pulliam Fellow at the IndyStar in Indianapolis. She earned her undergraduate degree from Cornell University and her master's from Northwestern University. A native of Ann Arbor, Anne likes exploring nature, cooking and baking.
