Silverado EV retail truck price lowered from previous guidance ahead of launch

Chevrolet on Wednesday confirmed it will sell the Silverado EV First-Edition RST retail truck for $94,500, a drop from the previous guidance of $105,000 that the General Motors Co.'s brand provided in 2022 when it revealed the electric truck.

The truck, with customer deliveries expected to begin by mid-2024, will now get an estimated 440 miles of range, an increase from the previous estimate of 400 miles.

Chevrolet plans to offer a line of differing Silverado EV trims for retail customers that will have a variety of range options.

GM launched production of the Silverado EV Work Truck for commercial customers last year. It sold 1,061 of them in the first quarter of 2024.
