GM creates chief transformation officer role

General Motors Co. has created a chief transformation officer role and named Molly Peck, current chief marketing officer at global Buick and GMC, to the position.

Peck will continue to report directly to Norm de Greve, senior vice president, global chief marketing officer. 

General Motors Co. has created a new chief transformation officer role and named Molly Peck, current chief marketing officer of global Buick and GMC, to the position.

Peck has led marketing for Cadillac, Chevrolet, Buick and GMC in North America, and had overseas assignments as chief marketing officer for Middle East operations and as executive director of sales, service and marketing for Buick in China. 

Peck will lead a global marketing transformation team to build stronger brands.

Suzie Guzzo, current chief marketing officer for the Africa and Middle East region, is promoted to chief marketing officer, global Buick and GMC, replacing Peck. Guzzo will report directly to de Greve and indirectly report to Duncan Aldred, global vice president of Buick and GMC.
