One of Detroit’s best stand-up comedians, Josh Adams has been spreading his wings not only headlining at clubs, but performing on major festivals and on shows featured on HBO and BET. Fire & Ice Festival at Detroit Riverfront

The medieval-themed Fire & Ice Festival is one of four special weekends planned at Valade Park. Programming includes an open mic, board games and trivia on Friday, plus food, drinks, marshmallow roasting, sledding, archery, ax-throwing, ice-craving, live music and more all weekend. Described as moody, gritty and anthemic, Detroit musician Griffin Benton’s new album “In a Darker Shade” is scheduled for release in a few months. Until then, he’s on a break studying at the Berklee College of Music to perform in his hometown.
