Cottage and Lakefront Living Show and Outdoorama at Suburban Collection Showplace

It’s still winter, but it’s not too early to start thinking about summer camping, weekend getaways and up north vacations. The Cottage and Lakefront Living Show has resources for those looking to rent a cabin or cottage this summer or shop for boats, docks, landscaping services and more. There’s also an art show, a cornhole tournament and a huge sandbox, among other attractions. Lunar New Year at Valade Park

The Detroit Riverfront Conservancy is hosting a three-day Lunar New Year party to ring in the Year of the Dragon. There will be food trucks, hot chocolate, parades, crafts, dance performances and other attractions, all part of their “Winter at Valade” programming. 4-9 p.m. Fri., noon-9 p.m. Sat. and noon-7 p.m. Sun. Blake Shelton at Little Caesars Arena

Country superstar Blake Shelton brings his “Back to the Honky Tonk” tour to Detroit this weekend with opening acts Dustin Lynch and Emily Ann Roberts. On the Shoulders of Giants: Celebrating Black History Month at Detroit Historical Museum

An all-ages, all-day celebration of Detroit’s Black History, Saturday’s programming includes a lecture and discussion about civil engineer Cornelius Henderson, plus a vendor marketplace and a performance from jazz group the Vincent Chandler Experience. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sat. “On Your Feet!” at Fox Theatre

Vinny Dombroski at Edo Ramen

To celebrate its sixth anniversary, this Royal Oak ramen restaurant and sushi lounge, which often serves as an art gallery and music venue, is hosting a concert by Detroit rock singer and songwriter Vinny Dombroski.
