Schumann & Elgar’s Enigma at Orchestra Hall

Led by conductor Juanjo Mena, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra will perform three concerts featuring pianist Inon Barnatan. The ensemble will perform Sir William Walton’s “Scapino: A Comedy Overture” and Sir Edward Elgar’s “Enigma Variations,” plus other pieces. Bianca Del Rio at Masonic Theatre

Colorful and charismatic drag queen Bianca Del Rio brings her “Dead Inside Comedy Tour” to the stage of the Masonic Cathedral Theatre this weekend. Madrigal Chorale at Ellen Kayrod Gallery

Visual arts and choral music intersect at the Madrigal Chorale’s annual pops concert. Hear hits from Broadway and the radio, plus American classics, while gazing at artworks at this art gallery in the Hannah Center.
