“Peter Pan” at Macomb Center for the Performing Arts

The Macomb Ballet Company will close out its 41st season with the beloved production of J.M. Barry’s tale of the boy who never grew up, Peter Pan, and Wendy Darling, Tinkerbell and Captain Hook. The nonprofit ballet company is working with ZFX Flying to incorporate flying scenes in the production. “Clyde’s” at Detroit Public Theatre

A production from Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lynn Nottage, “Clyde’s” explores topics of incarceration and second-chance employment. The Washington Post called it a “highly entertaining comedy of kitchen nightmares.” It’s in previews this week with a sold-out opening night at 8 p.m. Fri. Country Hits at Orchestra Hall

As part of their Pops concert series, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra goes country this weekend with “Country Hits: Songs from Nashville.” Led by conductor Jeff Tyzik, the ensemble features the vocals of Rick Brantley and Grace Lee performing hits by Dolly Parton, Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, Garth Brooks and more. 10:45 a.m. And 8 p.m. Fri. and 8 p.m. Sat. $24 and up. 3711 Woodward, Detroit. Detroit Comic book and Toy Show at Ford Community & Performing Arts Center

Browse all sorts of pop culture memorabilia and collectibles at this comic book and toy show. Art in Bloom at Cherry Hill Village

An indoor and outdoor spring artisan market, Art in Bloom is a collection of vendors selling fine arts, crafts, handmade gifts, home goods and more. There’s also food and activities for kids. Detroit x Detroit at the Loving Touch

A celebration of Detroit music, this annual event has two-stages of local bands performing the songs of other artists with Michigan ties. Highlights of this year’s Detroit x Detroit line up include singer and songwriter Matt Dmits performing as Bob Seger, Kalysta as Aretha Franklin, Rose St. Germaine as Suzy Quattro and the students from the School of Rock kicking things off performing the disco rock of the Electric Six. Joanne Shaw Taylor at Royal Oak Music Theatre
