Steve Martin and Martin Short to hit Fox Theatre in Detroit this fall

Comedic giants and co-stars of Hulu’s “Only Murders in the Building,” Steve Martin and Martin Short return to town this fall with their show “The Dukes of Funnytown!”

Set to hit the Fox Theatre on Nov. 2, tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday online at 313presents.com, livenation.com and ticketmaster.com.

“The jokes come at you at a rapid-fire pace with little set-up and big punch lines as they mock Hollywood and the fickle nature of celebrity, but the comedy truly soars when they lovingly (and relentlessly) roast each other,” reads a press release about the tour, announced Monday morning.

The Detroit show will also feature bluegrass band Steep Canyon Rangers and musician Jeff Babko. These musicians also supported Martin and Short when they performed at the Meadow Brook Amphitheatre in 2017.
