Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff picks up a few pointers on navigating Los Angeles and Detroit from "Beverly Hills Cop's" Axel Foley in a new trailer for this summer's "Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F," released Thursday.

"When I first came to Detroit from Los Angeles, I was a nervous," Goff says in the ad. "It's a big change and I wanted to fit in as quickly as possible. I turned to someone who understood both LA and Detroit: I turned to Axel Foley."

Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff (16) models one of the team's new uniforms during 2024 uniform media day.

The comical spot then features clips from "Axel F," with Goff taking cues from Eddie Murphy's character. When Foley greets someone by asking "who the f--- are you?" Goff takes note. "More cursing," he dutifully writes in his notepad.
