Ernie Hudson to host 'Ghostbusters' screening for Motor City Comic Con

Local fans have an opportunity to watch "Ghostbusters" with a Ghostbuster.

Michigan native Ernie Hudson will host a screening of 1984's original "Ghostbusters" at 7:30 p.m. May 17 at Emagine Novi, as part of Hudson's participation in this year's Motor City Comic Con.

Tickets are $40 and are only available to Motor City Comic Con attendees. A Q&A with the Benton Harbor native, 78, will precede the showing. For tickets and for more information, visit here.

Also tied to Motor City Comic Con, Helen Hunt is set to host a screening of her 1996 blockbuster "Twister" at 8 p.m. May 18 at Emagine Novi. Tickets, $40-$220, are available here.

Motor City Comic Con will be held May 17-19 at Novi's Suburban Collection Showplace.
