Alanis Morissette announces Metro Detroit concert with Joan Jett

Alanis Morissette will perform at Pine Knob on July 16, promoters announced Thursday.

Tickets for the Canadian singer's show go on sale at 10 a.m. Nov. 17.

Joan Jett and the Blackhearts and Morgan Wade will support Morissette at the concert, part of the seven-time Grammy winner's 2024 Triple Moon Tour.

Morissette's most recent album, "The Storm Before the Calm," was released in 2022.

Morissette's last area concert was in September 2021 at the then-DTE Energy Music Theatre on her Jagged Little Pill 25th Anniversary Tour, which was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
