Maxwell lines up Detroit date on Serenade Tour

Maxwell will "Serenade" Detroit on Oct. 11, promoters announced Monday, when the three-time Grammy winning R&B singer brings his 2024 Serenade Tour to Little Caesars Arena.

Tickets for the show, which will also feature Jazmine Sullivan and October London, go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday via Ticketmaster.

The show is part of Maxwell's 26-date tour, which kicks off Sept. 14 in Hollywood, Florida, and wraps Oct. 27 in Los Angeles.

Maxwell, whose last studio album "blackSUMMERS'night" was released in 2016, performed at the Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre in Detroit in July 2023.
