Shakira announces Detroit performance on Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran tour

Pre-sale tickets for the concert go on sale this week.

Grammy-winning superstar Shakira will perform at Little Caesars Arena on Dec. 15, promoters announced Tuesday, the final date on the North American leg of her "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour."

Tickets for the show go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday via Ticketmaster, with pre-sales starting on Wednesday.

Shakira performs during the MTV Video Music Awards on Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2023, at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.

The tour, which kicks off Nov. 2 in Palm Desert, California, is in support of Shakira's latest album, "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran," which translates to "Women No Longer Cry." The set was released last month and debuted at No. 13 on Billboard's Top 200 albums chart.

The Colombian singer, 47, popped up over the weekend at Indio, California's Coachella festival, where she performed a pair of songs during Bizarrap's set.

Shakira last performed in Detroit in Aug. 2018 at Little Caesars Arena.
