After breaking his foot this past weekend while performing at Coachella, Kid Cudi has canceled his upcoming tour, including a July 27 date at Little Caesars Arena.

"Guys, so, I have a broken calcaneus," Cudi wrote on Instagram Wednesday. (The calcaneus is the bone that forms the heel.) "Im headed to surgery now and there's gonna be a long recovery time. We have to cancel the tour so I can focus on getting better to be out there in top shape to rage with you all."

Ticket refunds are available at the point of purchase. Those who purchased tickets by phone or online will be automatically refunded, according to a post on 313 Presents' website.

"We will be back with new tour dates as soon as possible, and I can't wait to get back out there with you guys and turn up how we do," he wrote, adding he's in "good spirits" despite the setback.

The tour was announced in March, and Pusha T was to join Cudi on the 43-city trek.

The outing was to be mounted in support of Cudi's latest album "Insano," which was released in January.

Cudi's last Detroit performance was in February 2016 at the Fillmore Detroit.
