Days after the CW was removed from Detroit airwaves by WADL-TV (Channel 38), another station has picked up the network.

CW shows and programming can be viewed locally on WMYD-TV (TV20) starting Nov. 13.

“We are extremely pleased to be adding TV20 as a CW affiliate, especially as we get set to launch ACC men’s and women’s college basketball next month,” said president of the CW Network Dennis Miller in a press release issued Monday. “TV20 has a legacy of service to the community, and it will be a great home in the Detroit metro area for the CW.”

In addition to Atlantic Coast Conference sports, the CW is also home to shows like "FBoy Island," "The Spencer Sisters" and "World's Funniest Animals."

The CW was abruptly yanked from WADL-TV late last month.

“They didn’t pay, that’s what it really comes down to,” WADL-TV owner Kevin Adell told The Detroit News.

Financial terms of this new agreement between CW and WMYD-TV were not disclosed.
