Paul Walter Hauser already has an Emmy, and now the Saginaw-bred actor has earned another big milestone achievement in his career: His first action figure.

Make that a wrestling figure, as the "Richard Jewell" star's likeness has been captured in collectible form, commemorating his entry into the world of professional wrestling.

The figure comes from Major Bendies, the wrestling figure line founded by pro wrestler and collectible enthusiast Matt Cardona. It's on sale via Major Bendies' website through March 31 and will be made to order: As many as are ordered, that's how many will be made.

"It could be 10, it could be 10,000. I'm really hoping it's closer to 10,000," says Cardona, who formerly wrestled in World Wrestling Entertainment as Zack Ryder, and who launched Major Bendies three years ago.

Cardona was in a match against Hauser on March 16 at an independent show in Clive, Iowa, put on by Wrestling Revolver, which ended with Hauser lighting a table on fire and Cardona being slammed through it by WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray. "We were on better terms before he put me through a flaming table," Cardona says, but the business partnership with Hauser will continue.

"I hope fans buy them just to burn them," Cardona says. "I don't care what you do with them, as long as you buy them."

Figures are $28.95 and feature Hauser's likeness in a onesie that was meant to be his ring apparel at the Wrestling Revolver event, although it didn't come through in time. Cardona wants a rematch against Hauser, he says, and hopes it coincides with the figure's expected July release.

Hauser, 37, broke out in 2017's "I, Tonya" and has since had prominent roles in "Da 5 Bloods," "Cruella" and "Cobra Kai." He won an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for playing a serial killer in 2022's "Black Bird," in which he co-starred with Taron Egerton.

Hauser has been a lifelong fan of pro wrestling — his dream project is a movie about the pro wrestling stable the Four Horsemen, with himself in the Arn Anderson role, he told The Detroit News in 2021 — and he recently started stepping into the ring himself. His next match is scheduled for April 4 in Philadelphia against Sami Callihan, in what is billed as a Philadelphia Street Fight.

Cardona will be at Harpo's in Detroit on Saturday, where he's scheduled to fight Warren native Danhausen at Game Changer Wrestling's Role Model event.

He says he loves it when mainstream personalities such as Hauser get involved with the wrestling world because of the spotlight and attention they bring with them.

"It brings more eyeballs to pro wrestling and it brings more eyeballs to me, and win, lose or draw, I'm all about the attention," Cardona says.
