Farmington Community Library Odds & Ends Art Auction

Does your sense of style include the kitschy, the creepy and the downright cringe-worthy? If so, you can come April 5 to the Farmington Community Library for campy art, wine and a chance to bid on works that once graced the library walls, from aged, sun-faded prints of famous works, to abstract “masterpieces” that will leave you scratching your head. You might even find a conversation piece. Registration not required but appreciated for planning purposes. Adults 21+ only; valid government-issued picture ID with date of birth required to buy a ticket. Tickets are $10 per person and will be sold at the door (cash, check or credit card accepted). Each ticketholder will receive two drink tickets. Refreshments include wine, fizzy water and snacks (while supplies last). There will also be door prizes at this Friends of the Library Fundraiser. Payment for items purchased at the auction is due that night.  All items are sold “as is.” Doors open at 7 p.m. Auction begins at 7:30 p.m. The location is 32737 12 Mile. Go to farmlib.org.
