Detroit — One man is stable and another is in critical condition after they were shot while they were filming a music video early Friday morning on the city's east side, police said.

The shooting happened at about 12:45 a.m. in the 8200 block of Edgewood near Van Dyke between Lynch and Harper, officials said.

The victim, a 25-year-old man, told officers he was with several other people filming a video when someone began firing shots at them and he was struck by a bullet. He said he didn't see who the shooter was, according to authorities.

A short time later, officers found the second victim, a 30-year-old, at a hospital in critical condition with gunshot wounds.

Officials said they don't have any additional information and are investigating.
