Have you seen "Little Bully," a miniature angus bull? If you have, a Detroit farm would like him back.

The bull was one of three animals swiped earlier this month from Pingree Farms, a nonprofit dedicated to neighborhood revitalization and youth education through agriculture on the city's east side. Now, the farm is offering a $1,000 reward for the "unharmed" return of their animals.

The farm said the animals were stolen Feb. 9, though the time is unclear. Two SUVs hitched with a landscaping trailer took three of its animals, according to Pingree.

A black bull, "Little Bully," was among three animals Pingree Farms said someone stole from their property on Detroit's east side, Friday, Feb. 9, 2024.

"Little Bully," a miniature angus bull was stolen as was "Angel," a sheep, and a Nubian goat. The farm said the animals play a role in its 4-H program with Detroit’s youth, a development organization that provides educational opportunities in science and technology, clothing, textiles and life skills.

"We would like the animals returned unharmed," the farm said in a statement. "There is a small reward but if the perpetrators will just return the animals or leave them in an accessible location out of harms way then they won't have to deal with the repercussions."

Located at 301 East Grixdale near Seven Mile Road and Interstate 75, the farm teaches youth about "caring for rabbits, goats, sheep, chickens, turkey, miniature cows, pigs and ponies," according to its website.

A GoFundMe campaign has been set up to fund search efforts for the "missing animals and keeping our other animals safe and fed," the fundraiser said. As of Thursday evening, it had raised $185.

Reached Thursday, Detroit police said an investigation and the search for the suspects involved were ongoing.

Anyone with information is asked to call the farm at (313) 366-2450. Information can be left anonymously, the farm said.
