A miniature Angus bull and a sheep that were stolen from a Detroit farm have been returned, officials said Friday.

"Little Bully" and "Angel" were found in a field in southwest Detroit early Friday, Pingree Farms officials said in a statement.

"We are so happy to have Little Bully, the mini Angus bull, and Angel, the friendlies sheep, safely back in their pens," officials said in a post on the farm's official Facebook page. "The pair was found in southwest Detroit. The newborn calf and Nubian goat were unfortunately not found."

The group repeated its plea for donations on a GoFundMe.com page to help find the two missing animals and aid the farm raise its other animals. It launched the online fundraiser on Thursday. As of 11:30 a.m. Friday, the fundraiser collected $355 of a $10,000 goal.

It comes after Pingree Farms, an eastside Detroit nonprofit that works to revitalize neighborhoods by educating youth about agriculture, offered a $1,000 reward for finding and returning the four animals unharmed.

Pingree Farms officials said the animals were stolen sometime on Feb. 8 from their property, located in the area of Seven Mile and Interstate 75. It was unclear what time they were stolen.

They said the thieves arrived at the farm in two SUVs hitched with a landscaping trailer and took the animals.

Pingree Farms thanked everyone who'd been on the lookout for their animals, along with the media for spreading the word.

"We deeply appreciate everyone who has been part of this rescue," they said on Facebook.
