Suspect in fatal east Detroit stabbing arrested

A 50-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a fatal stabbing Wednesday on the city's east side, Detroit police said.

Officers were called at about 9:50 a.m. to a location in the 15200 block of Mack Avenue and saw an unresponsive man with several wounds on his body, they said.

Medics arrived and pronounced the man, who was in his 40s, dead at the scene, according to authorities.

An investigation led police to arrest the suspect.
