Case moves forward for woman accused in boyfriend's shooting in Warren

A woman has been bound over to Macomb County Circuit Court in connection with a shooting last summer in Warren, officials announced Wednesday.

Tyiese Faith Roscoe was allegedly arguing with her boyfriend in a room at the Red Roof Inn on July 6 when she shot the victim in the chest at close range, the Macomb County Prosecutor's Office said in a statement.

Tyiese Faith Roscoe was bound over as charged to Macomb County Circuit Court on Tuesday in connection with a July shooting in Warren.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Roscoe is charged second degree murder and carrying or possessing a firearm during a felony.

Her arraignment in Macomb County Circuit Court is scheduled for Dec. 4.

“My office is committed to seeking responsibility for domestic violence and achieving justice for the victim’s family,” Macomb County Prosecutor Peter Lucido said in the release.
