Chesterfield Township police seek man involved in fatal crash

A Chesterfield Township woman is dead after a fatal traffic crash Friday night and police are looking for the driver of another vehicle who fled from the scene.

Chesterfield Township police found a massive crash with two wrecked cars off of Gratiot Avenue and 25 Mile Road at 9:13 p.m. Friday, according to a Saturday press release.

The 39-year-old woman, whose name was not released, had been driving a Kia sedan, according to the release.

Witnesses told police they saw a man running from the other vehicle, a Ford F250 pickup truck, after the crash.
