Someone is lingering around with a lucky buy from a Metro Detroit restaurant: a $1 million Powerball ticket.

The winning ticket was sold at Andale Mexican Grill and Cantina in Commerce Township, according to the Michigan Lottery website.

On Friday, Michigan Lottery officials said an $842 million winning ticket sold at Food Castle of Grand Blanc on New Year’s Day remained unclaimed. That is the second-largest Lottery jackpot ever won in the state, behind a $1.05 billion Mega Millions jackpot won in January 2021.

The next Powerball drawing is scheduled for 10:59 p.m. Monday.

Meanwhile, the Mega Millions jackpot has reached an estimated $650 million for the Tuesday drawing.
