Business operations have returned to normal after a false bomb threat shut down a Home Depot in Fort Gratiot Township on Monday, said the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office.

The bomb threat was reported at about 3:30 p.m. A message was spotted on the wall in a bathroom stall, the Sheriff's Office said in a statement.

K-9 units from Michigan State Police and Port Huron police "worked meticulously clearing the building. No bomb, and nothing of concern was located," the Sheriff's Office said.

The Fort Gratiot Fire Department assisted on the scene.
