Funeral services set for several Oxford High School shooting victims

Oxford — Visitations have been set for three of the four victims in the Oxford High School shooting.

The family of Madisyn Baldwin has scheduled visitation for the 17-year-old this weekend. 

Baldwin, a senior, was expected to graduate this year. She had already been accepted into several colleges, some with a full scholarship. She was the eldest of her siblings, Payton, Liam and Brinley.

"She was an artist who loved to draw, read and write," friends wrote in online tributes.

Jennifer Graves Mosqueda, Baldwin's grandmother, posted the arrangements Thursday to a GoFundMe page she set up for the family.

The visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at Modetz Funeral Home, 100 East Silverbell, in Orion. Funeral services were not publicized. 

In lieu of flowers, Madisyn's family is asking for donations to be made in her name to “Autism Speaks.” Details can be found at autismspeaks.org.

As of Thursday evening, Baldwin's GoFundMe had surpassed its $30,000 goal and raised more than $80,000 from more than 1,500 donations.

Baldwin's mother, Nicole Beausoleil, shared senior photos on Facebook captioned:

"My heart is breaking…my mind is clouded…My soul is shattered…my pain is undeniable….but my love for you is unconditional always and forever. ❤️ until I can hold you again."

Madisyn is survived by her mother Nicole Beausoleil (Jason Prieskorn) and father, Robert (Krystyna) Baldwin; siblings, Payton, Liam, and Brinley; and grandparents Tracy Moniz (Raymond Magnuski), Susan (the late Robert) Beausoleil, David (the late Shellianne) Baldwin, and Jennifer (Wes) Mosqueda, according to the funeral home.

On Wednesday, visitation will run from 10 a.m. through 6 p.m. at LakePoint Community Church in Oxford for Hana St. Juliana, according to Lynch and Sons funeral home. The funeral will take place at 6 p.m. 

St. Juliana, a 14-year-old freshman, was the youngest victim. She was No. 9 on the Oxford volleyball team and had been playing front row in volleyball since middle school. She also played on the school's basketball team and made her high school debut the night before she died.

The Oxford women’s basketball program has paid tribute to St. Juliana on Twitter, writing, "We will never forget your kind heart, silly personality, and passion for the game. This season, we play for you Hana."

Services for Tate Myre, a 16-year-old junior, will take place at Kensington Church, 4640 S. Lapeer Road, in Lake Orion, from 1-8 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. until noon on Tuesday. A funeral service begins at noon Tuesday, according to Lynch and Sons funeral home.

Myre was a tight-end/running back on the high school's football team and played on the varsity team since his freshman year.

He recently was honored with a regional football award by the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association.

An online petition seeks to rename the high school's Wildcat Stadium in his honor. By Thursday evening, it had nearly 170,000 signatures. 

Meanwhile, a GoFundMe campaign has been launched to help cover memorial expenses for Justin Shilling, the fourth victim in the attack, who died Wednesday.

"I cannot describe to you the grief that our family is feeling from this senseless and unimaginable tragedy," his uncle, Kevin Shilling, said in a post on the site. "If you would like to make a donation, I can assure that the funds will be used to honor the memory of this wonderful young man that has been taken from us far too soon."

More than $54,000 had been raised through Thursday night, surpassing the $30,000 goal.

Shilling, 17, was a senior, co-captain of the school's bowling team and worked at Anita's Kitchen in Lake Orion.

Ethan Crumbley, a 15-year-old Oxford High School sophomore, was arraigned Wednesday on 24 counts in connection with the shooting, including four counts of first-degree murder and a terrorism charge.
