Boykin also is charged with assault with intent to murder, felon in possession of a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon and multiple counts of using a firearm in the commission of a felony, the sheriff's office said.

Detectives, including a special agent from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, determined the incident was the result of an argument, the sheriff's office said.

Boykin was arrested Wednesday and is being held in the Oakland County Jail.

52-1 District Court Magistrate Michael Bosnic ordered Boykin held without bond. Boykin is scheduled to appear march 19 in 50th District Court for a probable cause conference.

Deputies were called at about 9:15 p.m. Tuesday to the motorcycle club's building on Raeburn Street near Sanford Street in Pontiac for a report of a possible shooting, according to sheriff's officials.

They arrived and were told the victim, identified as Odneal, was taken to a hospital.

Detectives identified Boykin as the shooter and the Sheriff’s Fugitive Apprehension Team arrested him without incident early Wednesday at a nearby motel, the sheriff's office said. Odneal died shortly after 5 a.m. Wednesday in the hospital.
