Dante Moore will apparently have a new home next fall.

Moore, the former Detroit King star quarterback who started five games as a freshman this fall at UCLA, is in the transfer portal.

Quarterback Dante Moore, who played his freshman season at UCLA after starring at Detroit King, is in the NCAA transfer portal.

In nine games with the Bruins, Moore threw for 1,610 yards and 11 touchdowns, to nine interceptions. In his first career start, Sept. 9 at San Diego State, Moore threw for 290 yards and three touchdowns in a 35-10 victory.

Moore is ranked the No. 3 prospect in the portal by 247Sports, behind Texas A&M defensive lineman Walter Nolen and Oregon State quarterback Aidan Chiles, who could head to Michigan State with former Oregon State head coach Jonathan Smith.

As a senior at King, Moore threw for 2,392 yards and 32 touchdowns with just three interceptions, hitting on 21 of 26 passes for 275 yards and four TDs in the Division 3 championship, a 56-27 victory over Muskegon.

Moore originally was verbally committed to Oregon, before flipping to UCLA following then-Oregon offensive coordinator Kenny Dillingham's move to Arizona State.
