Michigan State football on Sunday landed two more verbal commits from high school prospects.

Quarterback Alessio Milivojevic and defensive back Andrew Brinson IV, both three-star prospects, say they will be heading to East Lansing next year.

Brinson, a senior in Tampa (Florida) Gaither, announced his decision Sunday evening on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, writing, “1000% COMMITTED go green!”

Milivojevic’s announcement came moments later.

Milivojevic and Brinson are the fourth and fifth 2024 high school recruits to commit since Jonathan Smith took over as head coach at the end of this season. Three-star running backs Makhi Frazier and Brandon Tullis and three-star tight end Wyatt Hook were previously committed to Oregon State before they decided to follow Smith to Michigan State.

Brinson is the latest former Beaver commit to flip to the Spartans. Listed at 6-foot and 175 pounds, Brinson is ranked No. 132 prospect in Florida and No. 1,015 nationally, according to 247Sports composite rankings. He received more than two dozen offers before settling on Michigan State.

Meanwhile, Milivojevic is a 6-foot-3 quarterback who previously starred at St. Francis High School in Wheaton, Illinois. 247Sports has him ranked as the No. 25 prospect in Illinois and No. 67 quarterback prospect.

Michigan State's recruiting class currently stands at 12 incoming freshmen. Quarterback Aidan Chiles also announced his plans to transfer from Oregon State.
