Sean Magee has joined first-year Michigan football head coach Sherrone Moore's staff as general manager/senior associate athletic director, the program announced Wednesday.

In his role at Michigan, he will oversee the recruiting and player personnel departments, as well as coordinate the program’s name, image and likeness (NIL) initiatives. Magee will be involved in identifying and evaluating talent in recruiting.

This is Magee's second stop at Michigan. During his first stint (2017-2022), he was director of player personnel the first year and then associate athletic director for football the final four.

Prior to his arrival in Ann Arbor in 2017, Magee served as the Director of Player Personnel at the U.S. Naval Academy for five seasons (2012-2016). Magee, a 2004 U.S. Naval Academy graduate, played offensive line for Navy (2000-2003) and was then an active-duty Naval officer from 2004-2012.
