Friday's preps basketball: Robichaud's J'vohn Walker scores 50 points vs. Crestwood
J’vohn Walker had a historic game on Friday night for Robichaud in a comfortable 76-25 victory over Crestwood in high school boys basketball.
Walker scored 50 points, twice as many points scored by the Crestwood team. He also had eight rebounds and four assists in the dominant effort.
Dearborn Heights Robichaud improves to 8-3 and 7-0 in the Western Wayne Athletic Conference. Dearborn Heights Crestwood falls to 4-5 and 2-3 in the WWAC.

Detroit Douglass 52, Detroit Cody 50: Jacodi Nathan scored 22 points and the go-ahead 3-pointer to win the game for Detroit Douglass (10-4, 5-0 DPSL Gold). Elijah Spivey also had 14 points for Douglass. Jeremiah Roberts had 15 points for Detroit Cody (2-3, 2-2 DPSL Gold).
Novi 43, Hartland 41: Aaron Lauer had 12 in the win for Novi (8-5, KLAA West). Parker Fundman led the way with 19 points for Hartland (8-4, 2-3 KLAA West).
Okemos 57, Holt 56: Colin Walton had a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds for Okemos (10-1, 4-0 CLAC Blue). Twin brother Brennan Walton also had a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Donye Thomas had a game-high 21 points for Holt (5-6, 1-3 CLAC Blue).
Waterford Kettering 41, Walled Lake Northern 34: Kevin Meredith had 12 for Waterford Kettering (3-10). Walled Lake Northern Falls to 4-9.

Grosse Pointe South 60, Utica Eisenhower 51: Maddy Bernard had a great night with 34 points, six rebounds, five assists, and seven steals for Grosse Pointe South (5-5, 3-2 MAC Red). Devyn Raymond had 12 for Utica Eisenhower (4-7, 1-4 MAC Red).
Macomb Dakota 42, Port Huron 37: Samone Andrews scored 15 points in the win for Macomb Dakota (10-2). Iliena Williams scored 18 points for Port Huron (9-3).
Milford 36, Walled Lake Central 17: Riley Mitchell led the way with 18 points for Milford (9-4, 5-2 LVC). Mira Kelly was a standout too with 13 for Milford. Walled Lake Central falls to 2-6 and 1-5 in the LVC.
Millington 44, Bullock Creek 18: Reese Gohsman had another double-double with 22 points and 12 rebounds for Millington (5-2). Darianna Tinsmnan had eight points and 10 boards and Aliyah Raymond scored 9 for Millington. Bullock Creek falls to 3-6.
Riverview 62 New Boston Huron 48: Kate Patterson had 19 for Riverview (7-2, 4-1). Brooklyn Poe had 16 with Averi Westbay scoring 10 for Riverview. Lila Clements had 18 for New Boston Huron (6-4, 2-3).
