Xenith Prep Kickoff Classic unveils schedule for 2024 showcase

The Xenith Prep Kickoff Classic lineup is set and will feature four games, two on Thursday, Aug. 29 and another two Friday, Aug. 30 at Wayne State University’s Tom Adams Field in Detroit.

This will mark the 12th straight year the event will be held at Wayne State.

Trenton and Southgate Anderson will get the action going on Aug. 29 at 4, with the showdown between Warren De La Salle and Davison to follow at 7.

Davison defeated De La Salle, 31-26, in last year’s season opener, with De La Salle advancing to the Division 2 state-title game, losing to Muskegon. Davison lost to Belleville in a Division 1 state semifinal.

On Aug. 30, five-star quarterback Bryce Underwood, an LSU commit, and Belleville will face Clarkston at 4, followed by Detroit King and Cleveland Heights (Ohio) at 7.
