Detroit — The Tigers will be in a celebration mood in 2024.

Individual-game tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday, and the Tigers have released a list of promotional giveaways and theme nights to help fans plan their picks.

The two biggest celebrations will be Saturday, Aug. 3, when the Tigers pay tribute to Hall-of-Fame manager Jim Leyland, and Saturday, Aug. 31, when the Tigers toast the 40th anniversary of the 1984 World Series championship. Leyland's night will see the first 15,000 fans receive a "Jim Leyland Starter Kit," complete with a baseball cap, sunglasses and a mustache. The 1984 reunion will feature a replica road jersey given to the first 15,000 fans.

The Tigers will have at least 15 giveaway games in 2024, including a Tigers hockey jersey (April 6), a Dan Dickerson Bobblehead celebrating the radio broadcaster's 25th season (April 27), a Riley Greene Bobblehead (Aug. 17), and a Tigers soccer jersey (Sept. 14), to go along with the team's annual iFiesta Tigres! celebration.

The Tigers will have a soccer jersey giveaway on Sept. 14 to go along with the team's annual iFiesta Tigres! celebration.

The Tigers also will feature more than a dozen theme nights, and will continue with their long-standing Friday-night postgame fireworks and Sunday kids' days, where kids get autographs, free rides on the Ferris wheel and carousel and can run the bases after the games.

The Tigers open the season on the road, before the home opener Friday, April 5, against the Oakland A's.

"Opening Day in Detroit is less than 60 days away, and we're very excited about the return of Tigers baseball," said Ryan Gustafson, executive vice president and COO for Ilitch Sports & Entertainment. "With a great home schedule and a tremendous lineup of special events and giveaways, there will be something for everyone."

Individual-game tickets will be available through tigers.com/tickets, with an eight-ticket limit for Opening Day.

The Tigers also are bringing back "313 Value Games" on Tuesdays, with $19 lower-level tickets available, as well as $3 bottled water, $3 hot dogs and $1 chips. Family four-packs on Sundays start at $79 for four upper-level tickets, four hot dogs and four fountain drinks; the price starts at $99 for lower-level tickets.
