The Lions showed off the upgrades to Ford Field during Roger Goodell's visit on Tuesday.

More upgrades are coming to Ford Field, according to a letter from Detroit Lions president Rod Wood sent to season ticket holders this week.

Since Wood took over the position in November 2015, the team has added cheerleaders and LED lighting to the roof of the stadium, and upgraded the indoor lighting, sound system and Wi-Fi.

In the letter, Wood announced an additional $100 million investment by the Ford family into the stadium, which will include new video boards and additional sound system upgrades.

The current video boards, at 27 feet by 96 feet, are considered small and outdated, given larger, high-definition boards that have been installed by a number of teams across the league.

Wood also acknowledged the Lions’ rebrand, which is centered around the removal of black from the team’s color scheme.

Detroit unveiled an updated logo on Wednesday, with the black outline around the leaping lion replaced by a gray one. The team will debut four updated uniforms on April 13.
