Lions' starting offensive line good to go against Broncos

Detroit — The Detroit Lions will have their starting five along the offensive line intact to open Saturday night's game against the Denver Broncos. Both center Frank Ragnow and left tackle Taylor Decker are active for the contest, after being listed as questionable on the week's final injury report.

Decker had been limited because of a back injury during the week, which he suffered during last Sunday's game with the Chicago Bears. He uncharacteristically struggled in that matchup, having a share of culpability on all four of the sacks allowed by the blocking. Ragnow, meanwhile, returns after a one-game absence due to multiple injuries. In addition to a season-long toe issue, he was also working through knee and back injuries that forced him to the sideline during the first half of the team's game against New Orleans two weeks ago.

In addition to the two linemen, defensive tackle Benito Jones (neck) and wide receiver Josh Reynolds (back) are also active against Denver after being listed as questionable.

All seven of Detroit's inactives are healthy scratches, headlined by edge defenders Charles Harris and Julian Okwara, who are taking a seat in favor of Bruce Irvin, who was temporarily elevated off the practice squad Saturday afternoon. The team's other practice squad elevation was used on kicker Michael Badgley, who will take the place of Riley Patterson, who has missed a couple of extra-point attempts the past three weeks.

Detroit's remaining inactives are cornerbacks Steven Gilmore and Chase Lucas, wide receiver Antoine Green and linebacker Trevor Nowaske.
