Former Lions receiver Josh Reynolds on Wednesday agreed to terms on a deal that'll see him moving from Detroit to Denver on a two-year deal worth up to $14 million, according to multiple reports.

Reynolds, 29, was claimed off waivers by Detroit in November of the 2021 season. He earned a two-year, $6 million extension the following offseason and was a trusted target of Lions quarterback Jared Goff in 2022 and 2023.

Fans react after Lions wide receiver Josh Reynolds (8) makes a touchdown catch in the first half.

Reynolds neared his best professional season, as Detroit won its first-ever NFC North title. He caught 40 passes for 608 yards (15.2 average), coming 10 yards short of his 2020 career-best (618 yards) and five touchdowns last season but was the face of an NFC Championship collapse against the 49ers, where his sure-handedness failed him on two critical drops.

Detroit's depth chart at receiver is an interesting one, with Amon-Ra St. Brown coming off an All-Pro season and Jameson Williams hoping to take a third-year leap. Donovan Peoples-Jones, who was acquired by Cleveland at the deadline and shined in limited opportunities to close the year before signing an extension this month, is a candidate to take on the brunt of Reynolds' workload, but with pick No. 29, the Lions are in a position to grab a wide receiver in a deep draft.
