It's been 102 days since the Detroit Lions defeated the Los Angeles Rams for their first playoff win in decades.

And Lions fans still can't stop chanting the name of quarterback Jared Goff.

To be fair, they had a little provocation from the NFL Draft stage in Campus Martius in Detroit on Thursday night to kick off Round 1.

Before the NFL Draft got started, the crowd got things going with boos for NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and chants for Lions QB Jared Goff.

Several former and current Lions players, including Goff, wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, defensive end Aidan Hutchinson and Hall-of-Famers Calvin Johnson and Barry Sanders were accompanied by Detroit-based rap artist Eminem and NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

It was St. Brown — who earlier in the day inked his monster extension with Detroit — who got the chants started.

The chant's origin came in the pregame of Detroit's playoff win over Los Angeles. After ex-Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford came down the tunnel, fans began chanting it relentlessly. The chants soon found their way into Detroit Red Wings home games and the like.
